The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
